2. What data does the app process?
The app does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to us or to third parties. In particular there is:
- no registration and no user account,
- no advertising and no advertising IDs,
- no analytics, statistics or tracking services,
- no access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or other files,
- no chat or sharing features.
The app does not request the internet permission and therefore does not send any data over the internet.
3. Game progress and settings on your device
So that you can continue playing, the app stores your game progress (your worlds with buildings, fluffballs and the names you gave them, the play time) and your settings (e.g. volume, language, graphics) only locally on your device. We have no access to this data. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.
If automatic Android backup (“Google One / Android backup”) is turned on for your device, Android may back up this app data to your Google account and restore it when you reinstall. This backup is performed by Google/Android, not by us, and can be turned off in your device settings.
4. Children
Fuzzy Meadow is suitable for children. As the app does not collect any personal data, no data of children is collected either. Purchases can only be reached through a parents' area protected by a small arithmetic task.
5. Buying the full version (in-app purchase)
Part of the game can be played for free; the full version can be unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase (no subscription). The purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. Google processes the data required for the purchase (e.g. your Google account and payment details) under its own responsibility. We do not receive any payment details – Google only confirms that the full version was purchased, and this confirmation is stored on your device.
Technically, the app uses Google's Google Play Billing Library for this. It only talks to the Play Store app on your device (this requires the “Google Play Billing” permission); the connection to Google's servers is made by the Play Store itself. The app itself does not go online, not even for a purchase. To restore a full version you already bought, e.g. after reinstalling, the app asks the Play Store whether your Google account owns it. No data is sent to us or to any other provider (such as analytics or advertising services). The Google Privacy Policy applies.
6. Google Play Store
When you download the app from Google Play, Google processes data under its own responsibility (e.g. your Google account and download information). We have no influence on this. Statistics we see in the Google Play Console are aggregated and do not identify individual people.
7. Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) or – if you live in the EU – the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC; in the EU the authority of your country of residence). As we do not store any personal data about you, we usually cannot provide or delete any data – you can delete your game progress at any time yourself by deleting a world in the game or uninstalling the app. If you have any questions, contact us at the email address above.
8. This website
This privacy policy is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you open it, GitHub processes technically necessary data such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. The page itself uses no cookies, no scripts and no embedded third-party content. GitHub's privacy policy: GitHub General Privacy Statement.
9. Changes
If the app changes in a way that affects how data is processed, we will update this privacy policy. The version published here applies.
